Chapter I은 자기주도적 영어원서 읽기학습의 도움을 줄 수 있는 영어원서의 이해력, 어휘능력을 측정, 향상시키는 통합적이고 체계적인 프로그램 입니다. 영어독서로 언어를 학습 하게 되면 언어능력뿐만 아니라 책을 통한 영미 문화권의 간접체험 및 사고력이 함께 성장 할 수 있습니다. 단지 암기 위주가 아닌 개개인의 능력과 레벨에 맞는 정확한 진단과 학습평가로 언어능력을 성장시킵니다.

Chapter I은 영어원서 읽기를 기반으로 한 영어교육의 4대영역을 학습할 수 있도록 구성되어 있습니다.

Chapter I은 국내외 독서지수를 종합적으로 분석하여 국내학생들의 영어 학습 능력에 맞게 재구성 하였습니다.

1. A PLACEMENT TEST (Readability formula)

   CBT (Computer based test)개개인에 맞는 레벨이 설정되고 다양한 장르의 추천도서 로드맵을 제시해 줍니다.

2. B READING COMPREHENSION

   학습자는 추천도서의 영어원서를 읽고 난 후 책 내용에 이해도를 확인 해 줄 수 있는 Chapter I READING Comprehension 문항을 풀게 됩니다.

3. C VOCABULARY PRACTICE

   각각의 도서 내용 문맥에 따른 vocabulary work sheet로 단어학습을 할수 있습니다.

4. D NON-FICTION

   영어원서 학습 외에도 science, history, global, culture 등 각 분야별 영자신문 형태의 학습 자료로 문항풀이, 나만의 에세이 쓰기 등 다양한 학습을 시도해 볼수 있습니다.

영어원서읽기학습법은 아이들이 영어권의 문화 속에 자연스럽게 노출이 이루어지게 함으로써 아이들이 재미있게 영어의 4대 영역을 골고루 학습할 수 있습니다.

영어도서 읽기를 통해 문법적인 기초지식이 없어도 옳은 문장과 그렇지 않은 문장을 구별해 내는 능력이 생겨 상상력을 동반한 이해력과 표현력이 성장하게 됩니다.
